Goya Foods Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month With New Latin Fusion Recipes

9/16/2008 - Secaucus, NJ, September 10, 2008 – In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States, is blending cuisines from all over Latin America in five new delicious “Latin fusion” recipes. Goya, long-recognized as a leader in Latin American food, condiments and culinary tradition, distributes over 1,600 authentic products from Spain, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central and South America.

“We take great pride in having built such a solid reputation among our consumers,” said Joseph Pérez, Senior Vice President. The Goya brand has become a symbol of authenticity among Hispanics as well as non-Hispanics interested in expanding their cooking experience. Goya Foods Opens 2008 Season with the Houston Astros

5/2/2008 - April 21, 2008 – Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States is bringing the taste of Latin America to Minute Maid Park this season, as it sponsors a new concession stand this year in the Main Concourse area behind Home Plate.  The three-year sponsorship includes the Goya Baseball Shuffle video feature, a Houston fan favorite; the new ‘Goya Latin Café’, Latino food concession stand featuring food made with Goya products and ingredients, and sampling promotions throughout the season. This endeavor is indicative of the growing popularity of Latino food and its culture in all aspects of the American experience. “We are thrilled to be a sponsor of the Houston Astros and prouder still to introduce Latin American food to local fans.’  We started last year in New York with our “Salsa On the Go at Yankee Stadium and are thrilled to develop this concept in Houston with the Astros.
